Classic Cycle 14: Call for Auditions
Do you have what it takes to be Eorzea’s next S-Rank model?
It feels like 84 years since we ran a cycle, but with Patch 6.4 out and summertime giving us all a little bit more daylight and hopefully some breathing space, we’re going to give it a shot in celebration of 9 years of ENTM! That’s right, about this time in 2014 Rongi Pongi had the crazy idea to get a bunch of models on the official forums in swimsuits off the coast of Hullbreaker Island for what turned into a multi week screenshot contest, and the rest is history.
Classic Cycle 14 will be a 6 week contest, open to veterans and new models alike. Our models will be given all themes ahead of time, but asked to keep them a secret until the week the shot is scheduled. Judging is done two ways – juried by a panel of ENTM veterans and screenshot community celebrities, and also by a popular vote that’s open to all the friends, family, and fans of the models.
Classic Cycle 14 will run from June 23rd to August 1 with a winner announced by August 2nd, 2023.
Call for Models
We are in search of up to 5-10 models for this contest. To enter, you will need a Discord account. Send a direct message to admin Katarh (now literally just Katarh thanks to Discord’s weird renaming thing) and include the following information:
- Your Character Name and Race
- Your Server and Data Center (ENTM contests are open to all data centers!)
- A screenshot of your character from the waist up that will be used as your debut portrait for the contest, so make it cute with the best lighting you can muster! NO MODS AND NO RESHADE ALLOWED. Also no NVIDIA filters. You can use Gpose and the in game tools to your heart’s content.
- A screenshot of your character in battle or an action pose, with a cool background and some kind of flashy effects (I call it “battle glitter.”) Again, no mods or reshade or Nvidia filters allowed.
- ENTM contests are vanilla only to keep it fair to our PS4/PS5 contestants.
Auditions are open until June 16th! If we fail to meet the minimum of 5 models, the cycle will be postponed, so don’t be shy about auditioning. We love new models!

Call for Judges
I am also looking for ideally 1-2 new judges to round out the panel of ENTM veterans. If you are a screenshot community member (with serious opinions about glams and gorgeous backgrounds), or you know someone who might be a good fit for a judge (because they have serious opinions about glams and gorgeous backgrounds) please send a DM to Katarh so I can talk to you or get in touch with them!
June Challenge 2023
The theme for the month of June is a celebration that all of us have at some point in the year – Namedays! (Aka “birthdays.”) This is another very open ended challenge with no rules and no requirements.
Entries for this theme will be accepted until June 23rd, 2023, at 11:59 PM ET.
To enter, send your screenshot in DM to admin Katarh Mest on the ENTM Discord. Please include a character name for voting.
The winner will receive the right to choose the next theme for the challenge.

May Challenge 2023 Winner
The theme for May was “My Little Monster” – a nice throwback to an ENTM contest staple. The winner for this month was Netizyn James with a timely homage to Link and his chickens (technically a monster in the context of Griffin Crossing and Battle on the Big Bridge!)

In addition: CLASSIC CYCLE 14 is finally coming! We’ve been on hiatus for about six months now due to all the hosts getting eaten alive by real life, but with Patch 6.4 out in the wild, we think it’s time to give everyone something to do that isn’t grinding out more Manderville and Splenderous weapons. Auditions for contestants and judging will be announced in the next few days.

May Challenge 2023
The theme for the month of may will be a throwback to the classic cycle theme of My Little Monster. “Aw, this cute thing wants to destroy you! Show us fighting your favorite tiny monster.”
(Technically this is a “battle round” but since this isn’t a full blown cycle, don’t let little things like “rules” or “requirements” stop you from taking your absolute best shot. )

April Challenge 2023
The theme for April will be a very open ended Housing – that is, a renovation cycle style screenshot of your favorite nooks and crannies of your apartment or FC house. No player characters should be included in this shot!
As with our regular monthly challenges – you should keep this vanilla. No mods and no usage of third party tools. That said, glitch away to your heart’s content to stack and layer objects far beyond the bounds of the standard settings.

March Challenge Winner(s)
It is a rare occasion in ENTM monthly challenge – we had a dead on tie between two of our shots! With an equal number of votes for each of them, the winners for March are both Penny Snowflake and Ireul Aberystwyth!

Cycle Update: We had hoped to have news about our next cycle by now, but all of the hosts for ENTM have been eaten alive by Real Life ™ these past few months (including me.) Now would be an ideal time to give us all something to tide us all over until Patch 6.4, so please look forward to an announcement as soon as we can get things organized on our end.
